Fiona Watson is a Scotland-based artist working in etching, digital print making, photography and painting. A fascination with patterns, rhythms, forms and colors of nature initially led to a career in biological sciences which still influences her work today.

Biography

Fiona Watson is a Scotland-based artist working in etching, digital print making, photography and painting. A fascination with patterns, rhythms, forms and colors of nature initially led to a career in biological sciences which still influences her work today. The Japanese concept of wabi sabi -an appreciation of the imperfect and transient nature of everyday things- is also an influence on her work. She has exhibited extensively in the UK and internationally and her work is held in a number of collections worldwide.
