Biography
I'm always particularly inspired by the architecture of these places and any history or stories that may surround a location. After studying illustration, I find myself weaving a narrative into many of my pieces.

Melissa North studied illustration and visual communication at Westminster where she fell in love with screenprinting. After graduating and a short break to do some travelling, she moved back to London and established a small screenprint studio with some fellow creatives. She is now based in Brixton and creates all of her artworks in this shared studio space in South London. Her work often centres around places that she has travelled to.

Photography and the screenprint process itself constantly influence her work. She loves discovering new colour combinations through printing and experimenting with layering up different images and textures together in a collage form.
