Swati Sinha
I am Swati Sinha, working under the name Studio Kavachi. Born and raised in India, my work is shaped by the vibrant colours and cultural richness of my roots, which continue to influence how I see and interpret the world.
My practice centres on translating sensory experiences into physical form. I explore tropical summers, floral life, petrichor after rain, and the untamed beauty of nature-creating what I think of as emotional archives. Through bold colour and expressive mark-making, my work invites viewers to reconnect with their own sensory memories.
I work primarily with acrylics, using palette knives to build textured, light-responsive surfaces. My pieces range from intimate florals to expansive landscapes, with occasional semi-abstract & abstract explorations.
Through Studio Kavachi, I continue to bridge memory and medium-creating work that encourages a pause, a breath, and a deeper connection to the sensory world around us
