Nicolas Gadois

Nico is a hugely talented sculptor from Lower Normandy in France.

His work is made of found and reclaimed metal objects that he uses to create sculptures of creatures - fin, fur and feather.

His creations have particular appeal as we are able to recognise the objects and the way he has used them to replicate the mannerism and character of a bird or animal perfectly. His sculpture celebrates reinvention, turning antique cutlery into characterful birds with quiet strength.

He is frequently commissioned to make large scale works for private clients includling horses, dogs and giant carp!
