"This is the last painting left in my 'Woven' series - all inspired by the textile designer 2MPressure who works with wool and crochet. This painting was made at the same time I was researching for a commission inspired by Italian holiday resorts, the purple flowers came from some Mediterranean tiles, the pink shades were from lampshades in an interiors shot I was drawn to whilst painting."
