Biography
Florence Wolsey

Florence Wolsey is a self-taught abstract artist who explores her deep love of colour and shape through intuitive painting. Having recently moved from London back to Devon where she grew up, Flo is now painting full-time from her studio in Honiton, working predominantly in acrylics.
Flo's paintings evolve as she builds layer upon layer, she etches into the paint to create shapes and reveal hidden colours that represent a colliding of past and present memories and inspirations. Living in Devon with her husband and 2 young children, Flo draws great inspiration from her rural and coastal surroundings, past travels and her love affair with India and its vibrant colours.
